English
Jesus said, ‘Know what is in front of your face, and what is hidden from you will be revealed to you. Because there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, [nor buried which will not be raised].’
Interpretation
Saying 5 is probably from the earliest stages of the book. Similar to previous teachings in this core version of the book, Saying 5 describes the discoveries which will be made in the final judgment. The Greek version contains an added clause, which probably refers to the resurrection.
